We absolutely loved the Drawing Room apartment, especially the terrace – it was perfect for getting some fresh air. The location is superb and couldn’t be more convenient.The bed was incredibly comfortable – like sleeping in heaven! Our staycation at Miss Midgley's was a truely memorable experience for myself and my daughter. It has absolutely stunning decor and fittings that mesh the traditional and modern with beautiful attention to detail. The king sized beds, suitcase storage, writing desk and fully equiped kitchen make it feel like your own gorgeous home away from home and the little things like beautiful soaps, traditional leaf tea and the quintessential iced vovos make you never want to leave. We really enjoyed our stay in the Refectory at Miss Midgleys as there was plenty of space and we made use of the gorgeous front deck to sit and have a wine in the afternoon. It was decorated very stylishly with attention to detail and the beds were super comfortable. Tea, coffee and a small container of milk is provided which we appreciated. The pool is a good size and a perfect spot to relax. The location was ideal as it was walking distance to restaurants and shops without being right in the busy section of James Street. Just be mindful due to the fact the building is old, it isn't very sound proof, so there was a bit of noise from the road, but nothing too bad.I would highly recommend a stay at Miss Midgleys.

Staying at Miss Midgley’s was an absolute dream! We booked several of the apartments for our wedding accomodation, and they provided the most stunning heritage-luxe backdrop for our photos, that iconic baby pink and interior design is just perfection. My home away from home!

I regularly do extended stays in Brisbane for work and Miss Migleys has been my go to since I found it. James is a wonderful host and the property itself is divine. The beautiful heritage property has been so lovingly and tastefully restored and makes my stays worth looking forward to.

Miss Migleys is also a stones throw away from the James Street precinct meaning there is always something going on nearby.

Can't wait to go back soon!
